Gina Papa

Gina Papa is a coach and trainer with PonyPros in Bend, Oregon, USA. She was one of the first accredited horse agility trainers in the USA. Gina grew up riding on the A-circuit in hunter/jumpers. At age 16, she went to Chita, Russia on a Rotary Exchange. She lived in Russia until age 21 attending a Russian university. Upon returning to the stages in January 2010, Gina began teaching with friends Kali and Les Kiger. Today Gina teaches riding and groundwork lessons for PonyPros five days a week working with kids and adults. She currently owns a South Steens BLM Mustang mare, Thirteen, and a miniature named Penny Lane. Thirteen is 4 years old and Gina has just begun starting her under saddle. Penny is 2 and has become a fabulous trick pony and groundwork pony for kids. To earn extra income, Gina models for book covers, like A Bride’s Portrait of Dodge City, Kansas and Spring for Susannah. Gina has considered starting equine assisted leadership work in the future.
